New Podcast Episode: School (Part II)

This is the second part of a two-part episode (you can hear the first part here) about what happened when I enrolled my transgender daughter in a new school this past fall.  It hasn’t been easy, but we’ve both learned a lot – about ourselves and about the people in our lives. You can listen here. school3.jpg

  1. Marlo you are so brave! I just wish that us being transgender was not something to worry about people finding out. OH I am out but I am an adult and can handle the negativity. But a little girl should not have that burden! I signed up as a patron but could only afford $1.00 per episode. I wish it could be more but I am retired and living on Social Security. Keep up the excellent job you are doing raising your daughter!! ❤ Pamela

  2. Gendermom: I am so pleased that things turned out fine for M with her class and friends. I am, however, saddened that she and you have to go through all this worry and stress. Unfortunately, it does seem to come with the territory. Hang in there and have fun along the way. For now, that’s about all you can do. Thanks for your excellent blog posts.

  3. I’ve been following your work for some time now, i do love your style in writing. It’s lovely to hear how things are working out for you and your family.

    Thanks for sharing.

I was hoping, if you’ve got the time, maybe you’d take a look at my latest post perhaps? I would love some thoughts, positive feedback and/or constructive criticism. It’s titled “The Physics of my Magical Black Hair” and is Part 3 of my project I’ve called “Black Enough”:

I really do hope you enjoy it and are blessed to share 🙂

    God bless,
