I’ve made a couple of cartoons about life with my kiddo. Hope you enjoy them!
This one tells the story of how I said goodbye to my baby “boy” and welcomed my transgender daughter:
In this video, my daughter tells her story in her own words.
There is almost no reliable research out there on kids like mine. And yet the mainstream media keep quoting the same bogus “science” about trans kids. I hope this video helps set the record straight:
What’s most interesting to me is that all the parents of trans kids keep insisting that their children are really the opposite sex because of their interest in “girly” or “boyish” things. My daughter, who has no gender issues, has never liked princesses, fairies, the color pink or glitter. She’s just a normal girl who roller skates with her friends, has crushes on boys and wants to be a paleontologist one day. You all keep asking everyone else to be open to the fluidity of gender, yet keep trying to pigeonhole ideas of gender yourselves!
Hey there 🙂
I’m a trainee for child and youth care, and I’m doing a presentation for my course mates to raise their awareness about different topics, including transgender children.
I was wondering if I could use your videos for the presentation? (I’d have to download them and add subtitles)
